Abdullah Al Mahmud is the founder of ‘Zero to Infinity’, the largest scientific community of Bangladesh. It regularly publish 3 monthly magazines based on Science, Mathematics and Health amounting 25,000 copies, circulated all over the country.
As an editor he edited 51 monthly Science Magazine from April 2012 and 39 monthly Mathematics Magazine from April 2013. Though his background is in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, he loves Astronomy. That made him writing 3 books on basic Astronomy and Particle Physics.
For popularizing science Abdullah and his dedicated team regularly arrange workshops, public talks, science camps etc. They work with the ministry, policy makers, private companies, universities, NGOs and journalists to explore the best resources available in this field.
Abdullah also worked with companies like Google, Boeing, YouTube, Ernst & Young, Messe Berlin in two exchange programs held in Seattle and Berlin. For his work in popularizing science he has been awarded MAC Award 2013 by Dhaka University and The Bobs Award 2014 by German Radio Deutsche Welle.
Abdullah loves meeting people. The diversity of language, culture, value and story in every human being attract him so much. He wants to see a world, where every people have a basic scientific knowledge of who they are, from where they came from and their place in the vast universe.
